This course introduces students to the foundational concepts of the cloud computing environment, including infrastructure, services, support, security models, and key considerations in transitioning to cloud computing. Students get a detailed overview of cloud concepts and an opportunity to take the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Practitioner certification exam in this course. Recommended prior or concurrent learning: Introduction to Computer Science or equivalent technology skills.
