SOC 2040 - Race, Ethnicity, Class & Gender Credits: 3 This course explores the relationship between race, ethnicity, class, and gender in the construction of human society. Students learn to apply these concepts in order to better understand social forces in their own experience and to identify the social and psychological interests served by discrimination based on race, ethnicity, class, gender, sex, and sexuality.
