MAT 1531 - Calculus I

This course is a review of analytical geometry and introduction to the calculus of one variable. Topics include limits, derivatives of algebraic, transcendental, and trigonometric functions, rates of change, optimization, curve sketching, elements of integration of algebraic, transcendental, and trigonometric functions, area, volume, and practical applications in many fields. Students must take a math assessment for placement purposes prior to registration.
