BUS 2445 - Employment Law Credits: 3 This course examines employment law and prevention of discriminatory practices in all areas of employment. Students will gain familiarity with both federal and state laws governing employment and will develop a personal approach for maintaining current knowledge within their field. Legal procedures for recruiting, hiring, training, evaluating, promoting, and dismissing employees will be emphasized. The development of organizational policies which ensure organizational adherence to employment laws will also be discussed.
