Our Associate of Arts (A.A.) and Associate of Science (A.S.) programs provide the knowledge you need for employment or further study at the bachelor’s level. Usually 24 - 36 credits in the concentration area are required, with 33 credits of A.A. & A.S. general education courses bringing total credits to at least 60.
View the General Education Requirements for Associate Degrees and a list of courses that meet these requirements.
Students must successfully demonstrate mastery of four specific skill areas prior to, and as a requirement for, graduation. Students who have achieved proficiency in the Vermont State Colleges Graduation Standards are better able to work effectively with others, live as informed and involved community members, and think critically in order to solve problems and make decisions.
Programs marked with “+” can be completed fully online.
