AHS 2330 - Shiatsu Credits: 3 Shiatsu is a form of Japanese bodywork based on the theories of traditional Chinese medicine. Students study the system of meridians, or pathways of energy through the body, and ways the movement of energy affects physical, physiological, mental, and emotional functions. Shiatsu students learn basic techniques, including meridian work and joint movement, to create a full-body session. Prerequisites: Introduction to Massage & Bodywork and Human Anatomy & Physiology I.
