CIS 2040 - Management Information Systems

An introduction to the nature and scope of information systems in the business environment. Provides an understanding of the purposes and development of data and information systems for organizational management. A case study approach is used in applying basic principles of system design. Prerequisite: Microcomputer Applications I and Introduction to Database Management Systems or equivalent.
