CIS 1020 - Computer Essentials Credits: 3 This course is an introduction to computer skills necessary for success in computer coursework and the workplace setting. General features of file management, word processing, and basic presentation software will be covered. Emphasis will be placed on using a network, including e-mail, the Internet, and a learning management system. Students will also develop keyboarding skills. This course counts as credit for a CCV degree but does not satisfy the technological literacy requirement.
