Program Outcomes

Students who complete the Early Childhood Education Administrator certificate will be able to:

• apply developmentally appropriate, inclusive, and professionally accepted practices used in early childhood education settings;
• demonstrate a working knowledge of administrative, legal, ethical, and business practices required for early childhood program management;
• demonstrate effective leadership, supervision, and management skills essential for early childhood education programs.

• EDU 2041 - Leadership, Mentoring & Supervision for Early Childhood & Afterschool Practitioners
• EDU 2043 - Legal & Financial Issues in Early Childhood & Afterschool Programs
• BUS 2410 - Human Resource Management
• Choose 3 credits ACC, BUS, EDU, PSY, or INT-2860

* Recommended: Introduction to Early Childhood Education is recommended for students with no prior early education coursework. Otherwise, choose a course that meets your state’s child care licensing education requirements.
