This certificate provides students with the professional and leadership skills necessary to be successful in today’s workplace, based on collaboration with business leaders and the skills they identify as most valuable in the employment marketplace: effective communication, creative problem-solving, critical thinking, intercultural fluency, resilience, initiative, quantitative reasoning, and decision making. Students who complete the Leadership Skill certificate will have the opportunity to earn 21st Century Skills Badges from @ Education Design Lab.

Program Outcomes
Students who complete the Leadership Skills certificate will be able to: - identify leadership styles and explain personal leadership strengths and skills;
- demonstrate an understanding of business terminology;
- demonstrate the ability to consider different perspectives, collaborate with others, and contribute to a diverse and inclusive team.
- demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills.
