Designed for students beginning at CCV and planning to transfer into other institutions’ allied health programs, this certificate is excellent preparation for degree programs such as Vermont State University’s programs in dental hygiene, respiratory therapy, and nursing.

Program Outcomes
Students who complete the Allied Health Preparation certificate will be able to: - describe how the levels of structural organization in anatomy influence the functions of each of the body systems;
- describe the physical, cognitive, linguistic, and psychological development of human beings throughout the lifespan;
- explain the effects of nutrients, metabolism, and dietary strategies on minimizing the risks of disease throughout the lifecycle;
- demonstrate preparedness for educational and career development in the student’s field of study.
