This certificate prepares students to effectively use principles of storytelling and visual communication to create digital content for social media. Courses in this certificate build storytelling, visual communication, design, and social media skills to enhance current employment and prepare individuals for a wide variety of communication and marketing careers. In addition, students will critically engage with emerging trends in the study of human interaction with digital media.
Students who complete the Content Creation and Digital Media certificate can apply those courses to CCV’s Design & Media Studies (A.A.) + program.

Program Outcomes
Students who complete the certificate will be able to: - evaluate and employ storytelling strategies for a variety of communication goals;
- analyze the impact of social media content on society and individuals including adherence to principles of responsible and ethical content creation;
- demonstrate proficiency in creating content for multiple platforms;
- apply creative, effective, and responsible visual and written communications in alignment with client needs; and
- demonstrate preparedness for educational and career development in the student’s field of study.
