Program Outcomes
Students who complete the Human Resource Management certificate will be able to:
- create acquisition and retention strategies as well as formulate assessments of activities in these areas.
- understand and address the varied ethical and legal issues associated with HR practices, including anti-discrimination laws, recruiting practices, privacy rights, documentation and contemporary developments in employment law.
- analyze how group and individual behaviors are influenced in an organizational setting.
- evaluate an organization’s work environment challenges, including diversity and change, in order to help employees navigate a path through the organizational environment.
- explore pathways and demonstrate preparedness for educational and career development in the student’s field of study.
