Program Outcomes
Students who complete the Workplace Skills certificate will be able to:
- identify and explain entry level workplace skills;
- demonstrate an understanding of business terminology;
- utilize technology to prepare basic workplace documents;
- communicate effectively using oral and written techniques appropriate for the workplace;
- demonstrate effective critical thinking and problem solving skills to address situations encountered in the workplace; and
- explore pathways and demonstrate preparedness for educational and career development in the student’s field of study.
Required Courses
Courses are listed in the order in which we recommend you take them. Plus 6 - 9 additional credits in ACC, AHS, BUS, CIS, CRJ, EDU, EMP, HTM, MEC, SWK, or INT-1520 Exploratory Workplace Experience
