This course provides an orientation to compliance with local, state, federal, and international laws and regulations that impact the transportation, distribution, and logistics industry. Application of industry standards to ensure quality service will be discussed. Students will learn about International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards, tariff and trade regulations, labeling regulations, environmental regulations, and OSHA regulations.
