This course is an introduction to the principles of investigation with a focus on procedures specific to various offenses, including crimes against persons and property. Students preparing for a variety of professions develop an understanding of the crucial responsibilities required in recognizing, evaluating, and preserving evidence for investigation by law enforcement.
