CIS 1450 - Foundations of Cloud Computing

This course introduces students to the foundational concepts of the cloud computing environment, including infrastructure, services, support, security models, and key considerations in transitioning to cloud computing. Students get a detailed overview of cloud concepts and have an opportunity to take the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Practitioner certification in this course. Students are also prepared to earn other industry recognized credentials in cloud computing.

Prerequisites: Prerequisite: Introduction to Computer Science or equivalent technology skills. Recommended prior or concurrent learning: Desktop Operating Systems.
