MEC 1030 - Sketching, Blueprint Reading, and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing Credits: 3 This course introduces the basic concepts and principles of annotated sketching, print reading, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). It addresses the interpretation of blueprints and schematic diagrams as well as free-hand sketching and the use of basic drafting tools and techniques. Students are introduced to projection techniques and drafting conventions.
