ARH 2025 - World Art Before 1400 Credits: 3 This course is an introductory survey of the history of art from pre-history to 1400. It lays the foundation for the history of art across the globe. This course introduces students to the major historical monuments of world art as well as a variety of art forms from different cultures and periods. Students develop art historical skills such as interpreting iconography and identifying stylistic developments through close examination of works.
