THA 2121 - Acting I Credits: 3 In this introductory course, students learn acting and performance techniques. Students explore and apply skills such as, physical relaxation, voice and diction, concentration, character development, text analysis, and effective communication through work on speeches, scenes, and improvisation. Students develop psychological and physical techniques that build confidence, promote teamwork, and take the fear out of public speaking and presentations.
