POS 1050 - The Constitution Credits: 3 From historical and contemporary perspectives, this course surveys the framing, revision, and interpretation of the U.S. Constitution. Examines how the original document and subsequent amendments have helped to shape our laws and way of life. Explores contemporary Constitutional issues such as abortion rights, hate speech, gun control, and affirmative action. Includes study of the Vermont Constitution.
