AHS 1810 - Administrative Medical Assisting Internship
Credits:3This internship course provides students with the opportunity to practice administrative duties performed by a medical assistant in a medical office. Students will demonstrate competencies including professional communication and behavior, data entry, computer applications, records management, scheduling patients, and financial procedures. This course should be completed early in the Medical Assisting program. Students must complete at least 80 hours in the medical office.
