Program Outcomes

Graduates of the Early Childhood Education program will be able to:

• practice effective communication with children, families, and community partners;
• apply developmentally appropriate, inclusive, and professionally accepted practices used in early childhood education settings;
• utilize strategies to maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment in early childhood education settings;
• demonstrate professional, legal, and ethical conduct in early childhood education settings;
• demonstrate academic skills required of all CCV graduates, including competency in communication, critical thinking, equity and inclusion, and technology;
• demonstrate preparedness for educational and career development in the student’s field of study.
