CED 0173 - Conversational Spanish Credits: 0
This course will help those students that have taken Spanish to improve and maintain the language. Students will read works by Latin American writers such as Vargas Llosa, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Isabel Allende, Pablo Coelho, Manuel Puig, etc. Videos, magazines and periodicals in Spanish will also be included. The class will “travel” to Latin American countries through brochure tours, travel books, videos, and readings and discussions of tourist attractions, food, music, and way of life.
Prerequisites: Students will need a certain level of comprehension. Prospective students will be required to speak with the instructor prior to enrollment.
